Email & Web Mail

This section deals primarily with email and web mail access. In order for your email to function properly at your domain (i.e. smith@smithlaw.com) a few things need to happen.

1. You must have registered a domain. The domain expires after certain periods of time, so make sure it is current and not expired.

2. You must have hosting and/or email service through a third party provider.

3. Your DNS information or related A Records must point to the new server.

4. Email accounts must be set up on the destination server.

5. Your mail program must be configured properly to access your email.

6. You must have the proper login info in order to log in to your email vie Web mail.
